A beautiful blonde was concerned about the constant reference to "dumb blondes". She thought about various ways in which she could prove she was not of this class. She finally hit upon a solution. She memorized the capitols of each of the United States. After being sure she was well versed in her new accomplishment she entered a local cocktail lounge and sat at the bar.
When the bartender asked he what libation she preferred she ordered a glass of white wine and struck up a conversation. She said, "I bet you think I'm just a dumb blonde."
The bartender replied, "No ma'am, I certainly do not, I have never seen you before in my life, and I learned long ago not to make snap judgements."
She said again,"I bet you do, and I can prove I'm not. I've memorized every state capitol. Go ahead and test me."
The bartender said,"No, it's not necessary."
She replied,"Yes, go ahead."
He said,"OK, Washington."
The blonde thought a moment and then her eyes lit up,"W," she replied.
