A woman is shopping and she purchases:
- 1 Tomato
- 1 head of lettuce
- 1/2lb of butter
- 1/2 dozen eggs
- 1 quart of milk
- and 2 cucumbers.
As she is going through line the cashier looks at each item before ringing it up. After all the items have been rung up, the clerk looks at the her and says "You must be single."
The woman was shocked. "Well yes I am," she said, "How did you know?"
The clerk replied "becuase you're damn ugly!"
