Heard the other day about a sheik whose wealth had been growing with the price of oil, and who was spending accordingly. He told his son, just before his 5th birthday a while back, that on his 5th, 10th and 15th birthdays, he could have anything his father could buy for him -- anything. Well the kid was still pretty young and foolish, and for his 5th, he just wanted a pair of Mickey Mouse ears. So the sheik hopped a jet to America, went to Disneyland, and bought him some Mickey Mouse ears. 5 years later, the kid wasn't quite so young, but damn near as foolish; this time he wanted a Mickey Mouse watch. The sheik asked to be sure, and then again hopped a jet to America, took another trip to Disneyland, and bought the kid a Mickey Mouse watch. 5 years later, the kid (by now showing obvious signs of infantilism) said he wanted a whole Mickey Mouse outfit. This time the sheik didn't even ask; he hopped the jet to America one more time, took another trip to Disneyland, and bought IBM.
